Dodo Posters is Liz Farrow's web site. Liz was probably the first antique dealer to specialize in advertising materials. In 1960, she started selling genuine, vintage advertising posters from Dodo, her shop in London.

Posters

Vintage advertising posters were originally pasted on walls or hoardings, usually outdoors. Once used, posters could not be preserved. A small number of unused posters have survived, often in excellent condition, e.g.:

• Printer's proofs
• Surplus production

Poster Condition

Most of our posters are in very good condition. Some posters have crease marks, minor tears, staining or restoration. Please do ask about the condition of posters you are interested in, as minor damage might not show in the photographs.

Many of our posters are linen-backed to protect them and make them easier to display. We recommend posters are linen-backed. Smaller posters can be framed, but linen-backing is best for large posters.
